Beverly Wertheimer’s Journey
Before becoming an ICF certified life coach, a mental health counselor, and a professor of psychology, I was a broadcast journalist working at local new stations including ABC and NBC affiliates in West Virginia, Florida, and New York. While in Florida, I worked as a news reporter, anchor, and bureau chief and was honored to win an Associated Press Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Reporting. I later made my way back home to Los Angeles, California, where I was an entertainment reporter at Entertainment Tonight and later at CNN’s Turner Entertainment Report.
In my quest to be the best journalist possible, I taught myself to approach anyone (including two United States Presidents and hundreds of movie stars!) without fear or self-consciousness, telling myself that I am kind and respectful and that no one is fundamentally more worthy than anyone else. Each of us is flawed (and flawless) in our own way; so don’t wait for good things to fall into your lap. Let me help you get what you want and value in life — and then enjoy it!
